2022 Queen Elizabeth II Strike on the Day Full Sovereign (Platinum Jubilee)

Struck on Sunday 6th February 2022 to celebrate the Platinum Jubilee day of HM Queen. Just 1200 of these have been made available with the Royal Mint opening especially on a Sunday for the striking of these coins, which all sold out within 29 minutes of release. This special sovereign differs from the 2022 proof and bullion versions in that it has a matt finish and is plain edged.
Each coin comes with a numbered and signed certificate of authenticity confirming the coin’s exclusivity.
