We ship worldwide.
UK orders are normally sent via Royal Mail Special Delivery, and international orders are sent using Royal Mail international services, with final delivery handled by the local national postal service unless otherwise arranged.
We hold additional business insurance covering shipments up to £15,000 per parcel worldwide.
Estimated delivery times are:
- UK: approximately 7–10 days
- International: approximately 14–28 days
Please note that delivery times are estimates and may vary due to customs processing and local postal services in the destination country.
Customers may request alternative shipping methods by prior arrangement. Any alternative delivery method requested by the customer is accepted at the customer’s own risk and may involve additional cost.
While all shipments are insured, buyers should be aware that postal authorities operate formal investigation timeframes in the event of delay or loss. In some cases, searches and tracing procedures may take several weeks to complete, particularly for international shipments.

Overseas Buyers – Customs & Shipping
Customs, Taxes & Import Regulations
Buyers outside the United Kingdom are responsible for ensuring that items may be legally imported into their destination country and for paying any customs duties, VAT, GST, or other import charges where applicable.
Customs treatment varies by country. While UK Royal Mint gold collector and investment coins are VAT-exempt in many jurisdictions, local customs authorities may still require declarations or supporting documentation.

Shipping Methods by Region
Shipping methods are selected based on destination, local regulations, and delivery reliability.
- United Kingdom & European Union: Orders are normally shipped via Royal Mail, with final delivery handled by the local national postal service.
- United States & Canada: Orders are normally shipped using an international courier service.
- Australia & New Zealand: Orders are normally shipped via Royal Mail, with final delivery handled by the local postal service.
- Asia (including Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore): Orders may be shipped via Royal Mail or courier, depending on destination and service availability.
- South America & South Africa: Shipping is available by prior arrangement only. Please contact us before placing an order so that suitable shipping options can be confirmed.
United States Buyers – Customs Information
Gold coins that are legal tender, manufactured in the United Kingdom, and imported into the United States are exempt from U.S. import duty.
Following the announcement of new U.S. trade tariffs, this position was officially clarified on 1 May 2025, and collectors can be assured that UK gold coins remain duty-free under current U.S. import regulations.
There is no duty on gold coins, medals, or bullion, but these items must still be declared to U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) upon import.
Please note: a FinCEN Form 105 must be completed for monetary instruments valued over USD $10,000, which includes gold coins. Further information is available from CBP: https://www.help.cbp.gov/s/article/Article-1594?language=en_US
Proof of Identity
Collectable Coins
We reserve the right to request proof of identity where payment screening indicates a potential risk of fraud, whether or not the initial payment was successful. We may return any payment we are not satisfied originated from the authorised payee.
Bullion and Investment Gold
We are legally required to comply with Government and EU regulations relating to Anti Money Laundering, Fraud, and Terrorism. Appropriate due diligence must be completed for transactions valued at £10,000 or more.
Accepted photographic ID:
- Passport
- Full UK Driving Licence
Accepted proof of address:
- Bank statement (within the last 6 months)
- Utility bill (within the last 6 months)
- Council tax statement
- Full UK driving licence (if not used as photo ID)
Returns & Refunds
Returns are accepted within 14 days. Items must be unused, in original condition, and in original packaging. Bullion purchases are exempt from return due to market price fluctuation.
Once a return is received and inspected, we will notify you of approval or rejection. Approved refunds are processed within 3–5 working days.
Please note: refunds and cancellations may be subject to a fee (typically 2%–4.5%) to cover initial site and card processing costs.
