We are delighted to be able to offer a limited number of coins including 3 and 5 coin sets from the Charles III Memorial Sovereign Collection. The sets have long since completely sold at the Royal Mint, but we have managed to secure just a handful of each. Delivery of the new King Charles III first portrait coins is expected in early January.

2022 5th Coin in the Music Legends Series 'The Rolling Stones'.
The Rolling Stones formed in 1962 are one of the worlds most iconic rock bands and are the feature of the Royal Mints 5th release in the highly sought after 'Music Legends' series. We have proof gold and silver versions available in very limited numbers. This music legends release will be the last to feature Jody Clark's portrait of Her late Majaesty Queen Elizabeth II. The first show billed as the Rolling Stones came on 12th July 1962 at the Marquee club in London. Still performing today the band has gone on to sell over 240 million records worldwide.

2022 King Charles III 'First Portrait' Memorial Sovereign Collection - Pre Order.
We are delighted to be able to offer a limited number of sets and individual proof sovereigns for pre-order. The memorial 2022 sovereigns are the first to carry the portrait of King Charles III by Martin Jennings. The collection also contains a Brilliant Uncirculated 5 Sovereign Piece, and Piefort edition.
The special reverse design features an elaborate portrayal of the Royal Coat of Arms in honour of the remarkable reign of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. The design is by Jody Clark who's former portrait of the late Queen featured on UK coinage 2015-2022. The Sovereign of King Charles III carries the obverse legend : 'CHARLES III · DEI · GRA · REX · FID · DEF' in Latin this translates to “King Charles III, reigning by the Grace of God, Defender of the Faith,”.
This is the first year since 2015 to see 2 different issues of the proof in a same year. Although the memorial sovereigns were officially released on November 15th 2022, delivery by the Royal Mint is expected in January.

The Royal Tudor Beasts Collection - The Yale of Beaufort
The Yale of Beaufort is the third coin in a brand new series from the Royal Mint . Launched October 2021 the series will depict all 10 Tudor Beasts of Henry VIII which stand on guard at the entrance to the famous Kings favourite Palace Hampton Court.
A Yale is a mythical creature often alluded to in European mythology that is thought to have a goat-like or antelope body, with four legs, the tusks of a boar, a lion’s tale and large horns that would swivel to counter-attack from all quarters. The Yale of Beaufort connects Henry VIII with the House of Beaufort through his grandmother – another attempt by the king to reinforce the legitimacy of the Tudor dynasty. The beast is also linked to the title of Somerset, which Jane Seymour’s brother held as Duke. It is thought Henry VIII gave the beast to his queen in honour of her brother.

This is the first coin in the new series from the Royal Mint featuring iconic and historic city views. This coin features the skyline of London with the Tower of London shown from the south bank of the river Thames. The design is adapted from the original art work of Wenceslaus Hollar and shows the city before the Great Fire of London in 1666.

2022 100th Anniversary Discovery of Tutankhamun's Tomb £5 Gold Proof - 'IN STOCK AND READY TO DISPATCH'
Celebrating the 100th anniversary of the discovery of Tutankhamun's tomb , The Royal Mints designer Laura Clancy has designed this superb portrait of 'King Tut' in all his splendour. The edge inscription shows the words "THE VALLEY OF THE KINGS", and this commemorative UK £5 coin will be one of the very last coins to show HM Queen Elizabeth II on the obverse.
Tutankhamun was the most famous pharaoh to rule Ancient Egypt, his tomb lay in the Valley of the Kings for 3000 years untouched until it was discovered by British Egyptologist Howard Carter on the 4th November 1922.

The first official coinage of King Charles III commemorating the life and legacy of Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. The 3 coins making up the memorial collection, will be issued at 9am, 3rd October 2022 all carry the first portrait of His Majesty The King, created by British sculptor Martin Jennings.
The reverse of the commemorative £5 coin features two new portraits of Queen Elizabeth II. The design was created by artist John Bergdahl in collaboration with The Royal Mint. It forms part of a wider memorial coin collection, which includes a 50p which will be released into general circulation in the UK.

The reverse of the coin features the Imperial State Crown worn by the Queen on the day of the coronation designed by Emma Noble. The obverse features the 4th portrait by Ian Rank Broadley.

Celebrating the life and legacy of Alexander Graham Bell, born 3rd March 1847 is best known for his patent of the telephone and its first successful voice transmission on 10th March 1876. The invention revolutionized global communications and is seen as one of the most important scientific breakthroughs in modern history.
Bell was an accomplished inventor whose devices include the 'Metal Detector' and what Bell himself called his greatest invention the 'Photophone'. Patented in 1880 it achieved the very first wireless sound transmission using a beam of light, it went on to become the master pattern for what we know today as fiber optic communications.

Best known for his code breaking work during WW2, and father of modern day computing by some, Turing's portrait also appears on the £50 note. Turing was posthumously pardoned in 2013 by the queen for his 1952 offence of being gay, and became a figurehead for gay rights, leading to the creation of 'Turing’s Law’.

2021 The Great Engravers 'William Wyon' Gothic Portrait / Crowned Cruciform 2oz PLAIN EDGE VIP Edition Gold Proof Coins
The VIP Plain Edge edition Great Engravers series featuring the original Victoria Gothic Portrait obverse, and Crowned reverse. Both coins feature the 5th head portrait of Queen Elizabeth II by Jody Clark on the obverse dated 2021. Unlike the standard edition coins these have been reproduced with a plain edge just as the original 1847 crown. As is now usual with the Great Engraver series, all coins in the release sold out within an hour of going on sale. These VIP plain editions were not sold to the public and were only available to Royal Mint Platinum customers.

The Lion of England is the second coin in a brand new series from the Royal Mint . Launched 6th October 2021 the series will depict all 10 Tudor Beasts of Henry VIII which stand on guard at the entrance to the famous Kings favourite Palace Hampton Court.
A brave and ferocious lion has featured on the shield of England for as long as it has existed. The lion represents English courage, strength, dignity and pride – traits that no animals native to the country at the time seemed to possess. The Lion of England assumed royal beast status in the early twelfth century during the reign of Richard I (1189–99), when heraldry was formally established. Used by Henry VIII as his dexter supporter, which means it appears on the viewer’s left-hand side, the Lion of England remains an iconic heraldic symbol to this very day, and perhaps in modern times is more representative of Britishness rather than Englishness. One of the first beasts to flank the parapets of the Moat Bridge of Hampton Court Palace, the crowned lion supports a shield bearing the impaled arms – a combination of two coats of arms – of Henry VIII and Jane Seymour.

Struck on Sunday 6th February 2022 to celebrate the Platinum Jubilee day of HM Queen. Just 1200 of these have been made available with the Royal Mint opening especially on a Sunday for the striking of these coins, which all sold out within 29 minutes of release. This special sovereign differs from the 2022 proof and bullion versions in that it has a matt finish and is plain edged.

The British Monarchs collection starts with King Henry VII and will feature all Kings and Queens as they appeared on the coinage at the time of their reign. The series charts the Royal Houses of the Tudors, Stuarts, Hanover, Saxe-Coburg-Gotha, and our present House of Windsor, and will conclude with our present Monarch Queen Elizabeth II.
Each coin will be of Proof finish and only available in Silver or Gold guises, mintages are set to be very low with no base metal issues being planned for this series. As the mintages are extremely low for this series we are expecting to only receive one or two of each issue. Introducing The Royal Tudor Beasts Collection the brand new series from the Royal Mint launched 6th October 2021 will depict all 10 Tudor Beasts of Henry VIII which stand on guard at the entrance to the famous Kings favourite Palace Hampton Court.
Originally representing Anne Boleyn, and Katherine of Aragon before her, the Seymour Panther was given to Jane Seymour, Henry VIII’s third wife, by the king from the royal treasury of beasts. Although the stone beast is depicted as a ferocious animal, with flames coming from its mouth and ears, the Seymour Panther symbolised a peaceful and loving union between the king and consort who bore him the male heir he so desperately yearned for.

The Royal Mint’s Shēngxiào Collection combines British minting craftsmanship with centuries old Chinese traditions. Artist David Lawrence has created the eighth design of the series, working with The Royal Mint’s Coin Design team to create a design which summarises the characteristics of people born in the Year of the Tiger, self-possessed, have strong leadership qualities, are charming, ambitious, courageous, warm-hearted, highly seductive, and moody.
