Commemorating 200 years of the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI), Saving Lives at sea since 1824. There can be no more deserving organisation to be celebrated in British coinage than the men and women who have put their lives at risk, and in many cases lost them in their efforts to save those at peril upon our seas. The superbly crafted coin by John Bergdahl shows the RNLI flag surrounded by a Lifebuoy with the Kings Naval insignia placed at the centre.
